New England Christmas Bedroom

Now that we have made some progress at Jason's house we thought it would be fun to add a few Christmas touches (or I should probably say I thought it would be fun, haha!) We kept it really simple and just added some greenery and paperwhites throughout the house and a few other small touches. Today I thought I would share with you the girl's bedroom with the added Christmas pieces.

Pink Christmas Peeks

Although I mostly stick to a neutral Christmas palette, the last few years I have tried little bits of red here and there. This year though, we didn't do any red and we are doing a simple, neutral palette throughout the house except in the girls' bedroom and playroom where we have all sorts of PINK! Lots and lots of pink! And I have to admit even though it's not what I am usually drawn to it has been so much fun and the girls have been so excited about it.

We've done a few projects in here like painting these old sleds we had from years ago. They were green and red but we took them apart and spray painted the red metal parts gold and then the green seats white and then put them back together. They are the perfect size for their dolls and stuffed animals (I have some shots of their dolls on them that I will share when I do the full playroom post - we are still working on a few other projects in there though).

Balsam Hill is sponsoring the Christmas Housewalk that we are taking part in December 1st and we got this fabulous white Christmas tree from them. Lillie and Lola were so excited about it and it was the perfect size for in here.

And we got a couple of these little bottle brush trees from Target.

We've been playing around with the pink in their bedroom too. We first had the little soldiers that we got last year at HomeGoods in here but then moved them to the playroom. We are still playing around with things in both rooms so not sure which room they will end up in.

Well, that's it for now! I'll be back next with some Christmas decorating at Jason's! Hopefully tomorrow at some point, but worst case Saturday morning. I hope you all have a fabulous Thursday!

A Few Little Christmas Peeks

I hope you all are having a wonderful week! I just thought I would pop in today with a few little peeks of the Christmas decorating we are working on around here. And I'll have a few more little peeks tomorrow and then Friday I am planning on sharing one of Jason's rooms all decorated for Christmas. And Monday we will be introducing our newest Christmas sign which I think is my favorite sign so far.

For today though, here's a little look at what we are doing in our guest bedroom. The pom pom shams are from Country Curtains and the other pillows are from HomeGoods.

Although we've tried to add a little more sparkle to the other rooms, we stuck with a more rustic theme for our den because we thought that would work best with all the dark wood. The garland is from Savvy Home and Garden, the sled is from an antique shop in NH and the stocking is from Balsam Hill

The mirror is a family antique, the amaryllis plants are from Savvy, the chairs are from TJMaxx and the cowhide pillows can be found here.

I've been wanting a pair of snow shoes for a while now and was so excited when my mom got me these for an early Christmas gift from an antique shop up in NH.

And as long as I can get my photos taken this afternoon I will have some peeks of the girl's playroom for you tomorrow! Even though it's completely different than what I usually am drawn to when it comes to Christmas decorating, I have to admit it has been the most fun room to do!

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!
